New Cooperative has announced the construction of a grain facility and feed mill in Greene County.

The new grain facility and pellet feeding mill will be built at the Cooper Agronomy location along Highway 4. The grain building will have a storage capacity of 3 million bushels and the feed mill will have a production capacity of 500,000 tons. The Cooper location was selected for the new facilities due to customer support and demand, along with access to utilities, availability of land, and existing agronomy assets.

Construction will start immediately and is expected to be completed by fall of 2021. The project is expected to add up to 16 new employees.
