It’s Class 1A number two ranked South Central Calhoun (Lake City) visiting Greene County tonight at Linduska Field in Jefferson in non-district high school football. Coach Caden Duncan’s Rams are ranked ninth in 2A this week by the Des Moines Register. Both opened the 2020 season last week with victories by shut out- SCC 14-0 over Kuemper Catholic (Carroll), and Greene County by a 49-0 final at Perry.

Everyone is reminded to wear a face covering at all times except when seated, or standing in designated areas. Anytime anyone is entering, leaving, or moving about within the facility, they are to have on a face covering.

Activities Director Todd Gordon talks about tickets for tonight’s game. “Families of our football players, band members, and cheerleaders, will have wristbands and they will pay at the gate. Everyone else will purchase (in advance) an online ticket.” Gordon emphasized without a wristband, tickets for fans of both teams will need to go online to make a ticket purchase today, if they haven’t already done so.
