A Graveside service for Gene Piel, 79, formerly of Jefferson, will be Saturday, September 12th at 1 pm at the Jefferson Cemetery.  Their will also be a Elk’s Rest Service and military rites.  A reception and visitation will follow at the First Baptist Church in Jefferson.  Survivors include:  Wife, Rena.  Children, Karen White and Gordon Piel.  Sister, Barbara McNeel.  Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
