Until late Tuesday afternoon it appeared Greene County may have had Homecoming without an opponent for the Friday night football game. That all changed when Nodaway Valley (Greenfield) agreed to make the trip to Jefferson to play the Rams in a game that will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. The Rams were originally scheduled to host Des Moines Christian and NV was originally going to Ogden for the Bulldogs’ Homecoming game, but both DMC and Ogden reported positive COVID-19 cases and both are under quarantine and not playing football this week.

The Wolverines are in Class A District 8 while the Rams are in 2A District 9. Both have lost their last two games with NV at 1-3 and Greene County 1-2.

Many of the usual Homecoming activities for the Rams have been scratched due to virus concerns, but the Friday night football game with Nodaway Valley is on. Coverage starts Friday at 6 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m. on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
