Tuesday, September 15th

8:53am: A deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 400 block of South 15th Street. Conar Hornsby 23 of Grand Junction was arrested for a probation violation arrest warrant out of Guthrie County.

9:28am: Conar Hornsby 23 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

9:53am: A deputy investigated a bad check in the 400 block of East Paton Street, Paton.

1:33pm: A deputy, Scranton Fire Department, and Churdan Fire Department responded to a semi fire on D Avenue at the intersection of 150th Street. It appeared the rear brakes on the tractor portion caught fire melting the aluminum trailer spilling beans on the roadway. The driver Michael Nelsen 62 of Lohrville noticed the fire and stopped. The estimated damage to the tractor was around 15,000 dollars and there was an estimated 20,000 dollars damage to the trailer.

10:00pm: A deputy talked to a subject in the 100 block of East Monroe who was seeking advice on personal issues.

Wednesday, September 16th

3:05am: A deputy assisted with a medical call on N Avenue near 170th Street.

4:20am: The Sheriff, a deputy, Jefferson Police Department, and Carroll Police Department assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with a pursuit on 220th Street. The pursuit reached speeds of 120 mph. A Jefferson Officer deployed spike strips at J Avenue and 220th Street in Greene County. The pursuit ended on 220th Street near Mulberry Street. The driver Linda Diebold 55 of Illinois was arrested for eluding, and operating while intoxicated by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.

6:27am: The Sheriff found a storage unit open near the Genesis Building. Nothing appeared to be missing.

7:35am: A deputy assisted with a cow out on S Avenue near 230th Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
