9:28am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on X Avenue near 170th Street.

11:52am: A deputy collected found drug paraphernalia in the 900 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

2:58pm: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 1600 block of K Avenue.

3:49pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on U Avenue near 180th Street.

4:26pm: The Sheriff and a deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a traffic stop on Grimmell Road near 220th Street. Nicholas Weber 20 of Jefferson was arrested for obstructing prosecution or defense, failure to affix drug tax stamp, and a controlled substance violation. Dalton Weber 22 of Scranton was arrested for a controlled substance violation and failure to affix drug tax stamp.

4:31pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person 220th Street near J Avenue.

5:18pm: Riley Rittgers 23 of Paton was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

7:25pm: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 100 block of West Hager Street, Grand Junction.

8:00pm: Dalton Weber 22 of Scranton was booked into the jail for a controlled substance violation and failure to affix drug tax stamp.

9:17pm: Nicholas Weber 20 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for obstructing prosecution or defense, failure to affix drug tax stamp, and a controlled substance violation.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
