It’s Nodaway Valley at Greene County in non-district high school football tonight from Linduska Field in Jefferson in the Rams’ Homecoming game. This is a first meeting on the gridiron between these two, and it came about because both originally had district opponents that contracted COVID-19 and are under quarantine. The Rams were to have hosted Des Moines Christian and the Wolverines were to have played at Ogden.

NV is 1-3 and Greene County is 1-2. Both have lost their last two games. The Wolverines’ four opponents have a combined 10-5 record, while the Rams’ three opponents to this point are a combined 5-4. Both teams averaged about 24 points per game and both allow around 21. NW is playing up in classification size as they are in Class A District 8 with the Rams in 2A District 9.

Game time is 7 p.m. with football coverage starting at 6 o’clock on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
