Democratic Candidate for the Iowa Senate Warren Varley will be holding a Zoom event to discuss gun rights. 

Varley is hosting a “listening post” on gun safety through the Zoom video conferencing application at 7 p.m. tomorrow. Amber Gustafson will join Varley during the event. Gustafson is a gun safety advocate from Ankeny that ran for Iowa Senate District 19 in 2018. She also owns a yoga studio and serves on several boards and committees such as Ankeny Dollars for Scholars Board, Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and Reach Out and Read Iowa.

Varley has held similar events to discuss education, energy, and healthcare. Varley is running against Republican incumbent Jake Chapman for State Senate District 10. The event is open to the public free of charge, but registration is required. You can find a link to register here.
