A wanted Jefferson man was located and apprehended in Perry Sunday.

According to the Jefferson Police Department, an arrest warrant was issued for 32-year-old Nathaniel Clark Aldrich, who faces a Class C Felony for willful injury, a serious misdemeanor for domestic abuse assault causing serious injury and a simple misdemeanor for domestic abuse assault. Aldrich was found in Perry on Sunday and arrested by the Perry Police Department. 

The charges stem from an alleged domestic abuse incident on September 20th. A former roommate of Aldrich told authorities that the suspect came back to the residence in the 300 block of West Washington Street to pick up his property. An argument ensued and the roommate said Aldrich knocked him down and struck him in the face, causing severe injuries. Aldrich also pushed an elderly woman to the ground before leaving the residence. 

Aldrich was transported to the law enforcement center in Jefferson on Sunday and was booked and released from the Greene County Jail under his own recognizance. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
