It’s been a week since the Dallas Center-Grimes Girls’ Cross Country team competed in its last race when the Fillies finished 4th at the Southeast Polk Invitational.  Tonight, DC-G will run at the Atlantic Country Club in the Atlantic Invitational.

Last Thursday, Justin Droppert’s team had one Top-10 finisher as Megan Sterbenz finished 7th in Pleasant Hill.  The Fillies had three other runners in the Varsity race that finished in the Top-25.  Kami Smith was 16th, Miranda Muhlstein was 21st, and Hannah Little was 24th.

The DC-G Boys’ Cross Country team will also be running tonight in Atlantic, but the Boys’ will be running at Nishna Hills Golf Course.

Following tonight’s race, the DC-G Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams will prepare for the Little Hawkeye Conference Meet scheduled for Monday night in Norwalk.
