Greene County High School has its volleyball and cross-country teams in action today. The postseason in these two sports is two weeks or less away and teams are preparing to be at their best.

Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s volleyball Rams go to Nevada for a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference match. the Rams are 5-14 overall and 0-3 in conference play. Tonight’s match is the only one this week for the varsity Rams.

It’s cross-country running at Saydel High School in Des Moines for Coach Jeff Lamoureux’s Rams. It’s the second meet in three days for Greene County, the first time that’s happened this season. The Rams ran at the South Central Calhoun Invitational in Lake City on Tuesday.

Greene County plays its last regular season football game tomorrow night at Shenandoah. The 4-2 Rams meet the 3-3 Mustangs on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with coverage at 6 p.m. and kickoff at 7 o’clock.
