AC/GC will be celebrating their seniors during their regular-season finale tonight against West Central Valley.

The Chargers come in tonight with a 2-4 record, coming off a 26-0 loss at Panorama last week where AC/GC was down to just 21 on their rosters due to COVID-19 quarantines. Head Coach Cody Mathewson tells Raccoon Valley Radio he’s expecting to get a few starters back as they try to enter the post-season as healthy as possible. So fair their core backfield has been kept intact and they’ll need to get the gears going again as the Chargers have been held to just two touchdowns the last two weeks. Gavin Cornelison has led the way on both sides of the ball. The junior leads the team with 592 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s also the teams leading tackler with 39.5, including 5.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery.

The Wildcats will look to sophomore quarterback Braiden Beane who has 177 passing yards one touchdown through the air and another on the ground. Senior Anthony smith has been their leading rusher with 154 yards and two scores through the first six weeks.
