Adel-Desoto-Minburn Girls cross country was able to compete yesterday down in Atlantic, as they were able to able to put up a great performance with the team finishing 3rd out of 18 schools on the afternoon.

Once again, sophomore Geneva Timmerman was able to have a splendid race, finishing first with a time of 19 minutes and 30 seconds, the only girl in the entire race with a time below the 20 minutes mark. Her next closest opponent that finished in second was 48 seconds behind, making her performance one of the most dominant of the season for the Tigers.

Senior Hannah Welch was able to finish 26th in the race, with sophomore Callie Moyer right behind her finishing in 27th place.

Tiger cross country is starting to turn the corner to the home stretch, as they get prepared for their conference meet next week that will be happening in Ames.
