COVID-19 cases rose throughout the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area over the weekend. 

According to the State Dashboard Sunday, Guthrie County reported the largest increase, adding 31 new cases since Thursday, increasing their total to 334. There have also been 200 recoveries and one new death for a total of 13 deaths. According to the State Dashboard, Guthrie County has an 18.4%,14-day positivity average, eighth-highest in the State. Adair County has 14 additional cases since Thursday, increasing their total to 99 with 56 recoveries and one death. Adair County has a 9.5% 14-day positivity rate. 

According to the State Dashboard Sunday, Dallas County has eight new cases since Thursday for a total of 3,012, ninth-most in the State. There have been 2,563 recoveries and 40 total deaths. Dallas County has an 8.2% 14-day positivity rate. Greene County reported six new cases since Thursday, increasing their total to 151. They’re also reporting 75 recoveries and zero deaths. Greene County is at an 8.5% 14-day positive average. 

Statewide, there are a total of 99,943 cases, with 76,265 recoveries and 1,462 deaths. Of the 863,927 people that have been tested, 762,370 were negative, an 11.6% positivity rate.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 105 hospitalized patients, 21 in Intensive Care Units, and 13 admitted in the last 24 hours.
