Adel-Desoto-Minburn boys and girls cross country teams competed on Monday up in Ames for the Raccoon River Conference meet, as both teams were able to finish in the top 4 as teams as well as getting great individual performances as well.

ADMs Nate Mueller was able to run his best race of the season so far, as he was able to run a sterling 15 minutes and 23 seconds, 52 seconds ahead of his next closest opponent. ADM boys team was able to finish third in the nine team event, and was also able to get a top ten performance from junior Cooper Greenslade, who finished 7th with a time of 16 minutes and 56 seconds. ADM was also able to get some top 25 performances from junior Nathan Royer and senior Ethan Juergens.

On the girls side, sophomore Geneva Timmerman was going up against great competition, and put together a great performance with a fourth place finish at a time of 19 minutes and 3 seconds. The girls as a team was able to finish 4th out of nine teams, as freshman Grace Martens-Sinn was able to finish 14th with a time of 20 minutes and 36 seconds. Sophomore Callie Moyer was able to finish 21st in the race as well for an ADM team that was able to put up a very nice performance.

Both of the Tigers teams will now have to wait for their district race for next week, as both teams will now go to a key race that will either if either or both of these teams can qualify for their state race in Fort Dodge.
