Satellite voting for the November general election begins today in Perry. 

Voters can submit their absentee ballot at the McCreary Community Center in Perry from 2-8 p.m Thursday and Friday. Dallas County residents can also turn in their absentee ballot at any satellite location in Dallas County. According to Dallas County Auditor Julia Helm, absentee voting is on pace to shatter previous records as more residents are deciding to vote that way instead of voting in person on Election Day. 

Absentee ballots can be cast via mail or in-person at a satellite location through Monday, November 2nd. You can find a list of satellite locations in Dallas County and more information about absentee voting here.
