The Rams are 6-2 and the Cardinals 4-4 and this is the second time they’ve met this season. On Oct. 2 in Jefferson, Greene County won 22-15 in overtime.

Greene County Activities Director Todd Gordon is preparing to host the playoff game, the sixth home game among nine contests so far. The Rams downed Red Oak 49-0 last Friday in the first round and the A.D. was asked how that went. “It went about as well as it could and we’ll try to continue to do the kind of things we have in the past and keep our season alive. The goal obviously is to win Friday and to get to that round of 16, so anything the public can do to help us keep our season going, such as masking up around our kids as our kids mask up, is going to be greatly appreciated. It just takes one or two cases and we would be shut down, so we’ve got to continue to be very vigilant in what we’re trying to do to prevent the spread of COVID.”

Game time is 7 p.m. Friday on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
