The Fillies basketball team for DCG will be hoping to continue a long line of success, one that has seen a lot of winning seasons consecutively these last few years and hoping to continue that trend this winter as well.

They had a seventeen win season from a year ago, and were able to go 11-3 in their conference as well, as they put together a great season night in and out. They will be missing some key players from a year ago including Jordan Cunningham, a unanimous selection for all conference last year and currently playing at Missouri Western State University, and Elizabeth Elfvin, who also was a first teamer as well. That said, they have multiple rotation players back and it’s not expected to be a rebuild, but a reload.

The Dallas Center – Grimes girls basketball team made it to the district final last year before bowing out a game short of the state tournament, and will be hoping that they can make a similar run this year as well.
