Friday, November 13th

5:09am: Michelle Cook reported hearing noises outside of her residence at 206 North Oak Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area.

8:25am: Rich Burkhardt requested an officer call him involving a Civil Property Issue. Burkhardt did not answer when the officer made several attempts to call him back.

9:06am: Jo Lynn Cook requested assistance from officer when she became locked out of her residence at 105 North Olive Street. The officers were able to gain entry without damaging the door.

9:54am: Marion Winger requested a Welfare Check on a female in the 800 Block of South Chestnut Street. The female had dropped the phone during a call and asked Winger to call law enforcement. The officers arrived and determined the female was in an on-going argument with her neighbor. Both parties were told to leave the other alone and no assistance was needed.

Saturday, November 14th

7:35am: Jo Byriel reported a deer had been hit by a vehicle and was in the roadway on South Elm Street, near 250th Street. The officers did not locate the reported animal.

11:53am: Officers responded to 705 West Sunset after dispatch received a 911 Call from the area requesting help. They arrived and located a female in the basement of the residence. She advised she was working in the basement and overheard an argument occurring upstairs, so she hid and called 911. The owner of the residence and the other subjects were no longer present at the location. The officer is working to follow up with the owner of the residence.

3:10pm: Kayce Coyle reported a friend had gone to Kansas City and should have been back by now. She was unable to reach the friend by phone and was worried. She later advised officers she had located the friend, who had been incarcerated in Missouri.

5:17pm: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call at 1409 North Elm Street.

Sunday, November 15th

7:51am: A deputy located a vehicle in a farm dive out in the county and requested assistance from Jefferson officers in speaking to the vehicle owner. The officers spoke to the owner and learned the vehicle was out of gas, but would be removed shortly. The information was passed back to the deputy.

12:53pm: Kayce Coyle called back about her missing friend. She advised she had learned he was not incarcerated in Missouri as she had reported earlier. She was unable to reach him by phone. The officer learned her friend had been involved in a car accident and was taken to a DSM Hospital. The officer provided Coyle with his findings.

2:30pm: Michelle Cook requested officers at 206 North Oak Street. Officers arrived and learned it involved a Civil Issue between Cook and her father. No assistance was necessary from officers.
