The AC/GC girl’s basketball season officially tips off tonight.

The Chargers will be making the trip to square off against Nodaway Valley. AC/GC will have their hands full as the Wolverines went 20-3 last season, earning a Pride of Iowa Championship. Last year the Chargers went 11-11 which is the best record since Adair-Casey and Guthrie Center merged high schools. The Chargers were led by their electric offense to find success. AC/GC averaged 51.7 points per game, which was good for third in the West Central Activities Conference.
