The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will continue discussions on tax increment financing and urban renewal area ordinances.

Last week the Supervisors approved the first reading to repeal chapters 51, 53, 54, 55, and 60 of their TIF and urban renewal ordinances. At Tuesday’s meeting they’ll discuss and consider action on the second reading. The chapters need three readings to be repealed, but the Supervisors can waive the third reading. The Supervisors will also discuss a request from the Sheriff’s Office to purchase a new vehicle. Other items on the agenda include tax credit applications, utility valuations, and a Greater Des Moines Partnership broadband funding request.
