While the holiday open houses had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Raccoon Valley Bank found another way to give back this year.

Raccoon Valley Bank Marketing Director Kelsey Hughes says they were able to donate money to local area food pantries.

“Yeah, so we know that our local food pantries are really in need at this time and so I know we are all here at the bank disheartened to cancel our holiday open houses but we are very pleased to be giving back to our communities.”

Hughes says Raccoon Valley Bank donated $2,500 each to the Adel, Dallas Center, Grimes, and Perry food pantries for a total of $10,000.
