Thursday, December 24th
1:45am: A deputy, Jefferson Police Department, and Jefferson Fire responded to a wood stove fire in a garage in the 400 block of North Maple Street.
10:50am: The Sheriff, a deputy, and Paton fire responded to a two vehicle on S Avenue and 170th Street. Norman Lee 44 of Paton was traveling South on S Avenue and failed to stop at the stop sign and pulled out in front of Anthony Sims 47 of Dana. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident. Norman was driving a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica and Anthony was driving a 2005 BMW 325I. Norman was cited for failure to obey a stop sign. One person was taken by personal vehicle with minor injuries.
3:13pm: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway in the 400 block of 140th Street.
5:01pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 100 block of Sunset Street, Grand Junction.
Friday, December 25th
3:43am: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1200 block of 245th Street.
9:51am: A deputy investigated an assault that was found to of occurred in the 600, block of East Lincolnway. The case was turned over to the Jefferson Police Department.
10:46pm: A deputy investigated a no contact order violation in the 800 block of Jay Street, Churdan.
12:17pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle at R Avenue and 195th Street.
6:47pm: A deputy assisted with an unruly child in the 100 block of Sunset Drive, Grand Junction.
7:40pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on 220th Street near U Avenue. Kimberly Crowdy 50 of Boone struck an animal with her 2017 Toyota Corolla causing an estimated 2,500 dollars damage.
11:52pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint in the 900 block of C Avenue.
Saturday, December 26th
1:26am: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 500 block of 12th Street, Grand Junction.
2:56pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 1100 block of220 th Street. Deividas Guinan 29 of Des Moines was arrested for reckless driving, driving while license suspended, and operating while under the influence 1st offense.
6:10pm: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 900 block of D Avenue.
6:22pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on the square in Jefferson.
7:03pm: Deividas Guinan 29 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for reckless driving, driving while license suspended, and operating while under the influence 1st offense.
7:17pm: A deputy assisted a jailer with an unruly inmate.
11:00pm: A deputy, Grand Junction Fire, and Jefferson fire responded to a semi fire in the 400 block of North 18th Street, Grand Junction. The semi-tractor was a total loss and several trailers were also severely damaged.
11:56pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 255th Street and Quaker Avenue.
Sunday, December 27th
3:34am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near Oakland Avenue. The car had left the scene and the deputy removed two deer from the roadway.
8:36pm: A deputy investigated a missing teenager from Ralston. The child was found in Glidden.
10:09pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of East Hager Street, Grand Junction.
10:17pm: A deputy investigated an assault that occurred in the 400 block of 4th Street, Rippey.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
