Greene County boys’ basketball head coach Chris Nelson has been conducting practices all week in preparation for the 2021 portion of the season. The 0-5 Rams are expected to have all their starters in the lineup at the same time for the first time this season on Tuesday night when Webster City (1-1) visits.

The coach talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about what he’s seen this week in practice. “We’re getting our legs underneath us a little bit. We’re shooting the ball better and getting used to playing with each other again. We’ve had four practices now with everyone, and we’ve seen improvement, and hope that carries over against someone other than ourselves.”

The Lynx and Rams will play a girl/boy doubleheader on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage starts around 5:40 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the boys to follow.
