The Guthrie County Department of Public Health reports forty more phase 1A residents received their first dose of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine this week.

Vaccination clinics were held this past Wednesday and Thursday. The department has vaccinated 229 people in total. Public Health will continue to vaccinate individuals in the Phase 1A priority group at this time. Any residents in the county who qualify for the vaccine, but haven’t received it through their employer or work outside the county can schedule an appointment with the Health Department to receive their first dose by calling 641-747-3972.

Clinics will be held next Wednesday and Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m.
