ADM Tigers boys basketball was in for a tough challenge in last Tuesday’s loss to Carroll falling 74-57, losing to the number two team in 3A in a competitive battle. Competition will not get any easier for the Tigers, as they will be welcoming the number four team in the state in the Bombers of Ballard in a matchup that ADM was able to be competitive in the first game.

ADM lost in overtime between the two teams in the first matchup by the score of 59-55, and were able to place together one of their strongest defensive performances of the season. One of the reasons that ADM was able to compete so well was their ability to compete well for 32 minutes, something that the team has been looking for more throughout the season. ADM basketball knows that to claw out wins the rest of the season the team must stay dialed in both offensively and defensively, because as they’ve learned throughout the year, the Raccoon River Conference is tough, and they can’t afford to be sluggish during stretches of the game.

ADM boys will be following the girls game down in Adel tomorrow. You can listen to the game on the home of Tiger basketball True Country K1079, and online at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
