The Perry Fire Department responded to a Thursday night fire at Osmundson Manufacturing in Perry. 

According to Perry Fire Chief Chris Hinds, the fire department responded to the call at 10:17 p.m.. Hinds says a hydraulic line burst and sprayed fluid into the air, which then landed on an operating machine and caught on fire, and onto an employee who suffered burns from the incident. 

Hinds says the fire went out on its own and they made sure to check the embers to eliminate the possibility of it relighting. Hinds notes the employee transported themselves to a medical facility before first responders arrived on scene.
