Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls basketball return to the floor tonight when they take on the Dutch of Pella, as the girls look to finish the season sweep and the boys a big one for who could be crowned the conference champion.

On the girls side the Fillies come in with a 14-2 record while Pella counters with a 10-7 mark. DCG won the first match in Pella 44-35, getting a big night out of senior Julia Reis who was able to put up half of the teams points with 22 on the night. DCG was able to hold Pella to under 10 points in three quarters during the game. The girls are still ranked number three in 4A.

On the boys side, Pella comes in as the number 2 team in 3A and DCG the number 7 team, setting up a showdown between the top two teams in the Little Hawkeye Conference. The first matchup was a thriller down in Pella, with the Dutch winning 61-58, in a wild game with DCG almost pulling off the second half comeback. The boys will be looking to slow the Dutch from the three point line, where they gave up 10 threes in the first matchup.

Tonights game will be at DCG High School, with the girls to begin at 6:15 and the boys to follow.
