The Dallas Center Grimes boys basketball team defeated Perry 85-12 Monday night in the opening round of Class 3A Substate 8 action in Grimes.  The Mustangs quickly raced out to a 38-7 lead in the first quarter and held Perry scoreless the entire second half.  Freshman Drake Levan led Perry with 7 points while Matthew Booker added 5.  Perry fails to win a game for the second time in three years closing out 0-18.  DCG advances to Thursday’s district final against ADM.
