The Churdan Public Library is planning an Easter event this weekend.

Children’s Librarian Marilyn Tilley says due to the pandemic, they are organizing an Easter parade instead of having an Easter egg hunt. Individuals and families can come to the back of the library, entering from the east and going west, will receive a sack full of Easter goodies. Additionally, everyone who comes to the event will have a chance to win a special Easter surprise.

Tilley adds their goal is to keep everyone safe but they wanted to provide the community with some kind of a free event. The parade will take this Saturday from 9:30-10:30am and no pre-registration is necessary.
