With multiple major fundraising events taking place in early 2021, the Perry Chamber of Commerce is planning for the rest of the year.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the Chamber is planning for many upcoming events slated for later this year. Pasutti says events like the farmer’s market and Friday Fest are being planned and fine tuned.

“We have the farmer’s market starting up very soon, we’ve got Friday Fest, we’ve got the bands lined up for those. So, fine tuning some of those details and getting it out into the community so they are aware of it and can plan on it because time flies when you are having fun and a lot of these things will come up pretty quickly.”

Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio another special event is ribbon cuttings, which she says may celebrate one year anniversaries for businesses that weren’t able to be celebrated due to the pandemic.

“There is a lot of ribbon cuttings that we weren’t able to do or didn’t feel comfortable doing or the timing just didn’t feel right last year.”

Pasutti is excited for what they are planning for the rest of the year.
