The Perry School Board approved the fiscal year 2022 budget at their regular meeting Monday. 

The budget has a 2.4-percent for supplemental state aid, and has a decrease of 57-cents in the tax rate and is now $19.98. Also, the Board accepted a bid and awarded a contract for the Jim Kaufman Track renovation, approved the Des Moines Area Community College college and career transition counselor shared personnel agreement with Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Perry. 

Finally, the Board approved the April Return to Learn plan, approved revisions to the voluntary early retirement policy, cooperative agreement with Faith Baptist Bible College, AEA food purchasing agreement, ESSER II strategic plan and use of funds, revisions of board policies, and personnel.

The meeting ended in a closed session for the annual evaluation of the superintendent.
