Adair County Health System recently received an award for one of its departments.

Adair County Health Wound Clinic earned the Going the Distance award from Restorixhealth.

The Going the Distance award acknowledges outpatient wound healing centers who have achieved or exceeded patient outcome standards during a set period of time during 2020. Results are calculated by comparing the cents patient outcomes against the Restorixhealth benchmark.

RestorixHealth is an organization that specializes in wound healing and amputation prevention.

The Adair County Wound Clinic is open all day Mondays and Friday mornings.
