A weekly program that was halted due to the pandemic is returning next week in Jefferson.

Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Economic Vitality Team is bringing back Java and Juice. It is a weekly program where attendees would go to a different business or organization and learn about that entity and what they offer. The program was suspended last year at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The return of the program is at the discretion of the host to either host an in person or virtual visit. The first program on Friday, May 7th will be in person at the new Ram Restaurant with the Greene County High School and the following Friday will be a virtual visit with the Greene County Medical Center. All Java and Juice programs will be held on Fridays, are free and are from 9:30-10am. Contact the Welcome Center if you are interested in hosting Java and Juice.
