Adel-Desoto-Minburn baseball and softball will be officially hitting the diamond for their first practice of the season today, as the Tigers will be looking to put together a strong showing this upcoming seasons.

Both of the teams are coming off of successful seasons from the 2020 seasons, as the boys were able to make it to the state tournament for the second consecutive year and the girls were constantly ranked in the top five in 4A throughout their season last year. Both teams are returning a good amount of talent but both will be looking to replace their number one pitchers with Abbie Hlas on the girls and Zach Fuller on the boys.

The boys will have coach Jason Book returning once again for the Tigers, while the girls have a new coach in Lindsay Stanford, but knows the ADM softball program well, and is expected to make an immediate contribution to the team.

Both of the teams are scheduled to begin their first game of the season on May 24th, when they travel up to Boone to take on the Toreadors, as the Tigers will have three weeks of practices to get ready for their first game.
