The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently released new information regarding COVID-19 and fully vaccinated people who don’t have to wear a mask in certain outdoor situations.

Greene County Public Health Director Becky Wolf describes some of those outdoor situations where fully vaccinated people don’t have to wear a mask.

“You could go walking, biking, any of that with your household members. You could be at a small outdoor gathering, as well as everybody has been fully vaccinated. And then you could attend a small outdoor gathering with fully vaccinated people, but I would be kind of cautious around the people that aren’t vaccinated. You could dine at an outdoor restaurant with friends from multiple households, as long as you are fully vaccinated.”

However, regardless if you are fully vaccinated, Wolf recommends wearing a mask if you are in a large group outdoor setting like a concert and if you are fully vaccinated continue to socially distance yourself from those who are not.
