Greene County continued its 2021 boys’ high school soccer season at Karber Field in Grand Junction on Tuesday night with a 7-0 victory over PCM (Monroe). The win was the seventh in the last eight matches for Coach Carl Behne’s team, and the Rams are now 8-3 on the season, while the Mustangs fell to 2-8.

Scoring goals for the Rams, tied for ninth place in the Class 1A rankings, were Alex Roberts with two, Jose Velazco with two, and one each from Nate Black, Nathan Behne, and Chris Villalobos. The goals were the first of the season for Black and Villalobos. Seven goals easily topped the Rams’ previous high for goals in a match this season, which was four.
