Greene County and Nevada play high school soccer against each other today. Coach Carl Behne’s boys play tonight in Nevada at the S.C.O.R.E Complex while the Rams host the Cubs at Karber Field in Grand Junction with the varsity at 5:30 p.m. and the JV to follow.

The boys’ contest will be between two teams that are in the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association rankings. The Cubs are 10-4 and rated number 4 in Class 2A. The Rams are 9-5 and rated number 12 in 1A.

Nevada’s girls have a 6-5 record and are led on offense by junior Contessa Borwick with nine goals. The Cubs have score 30 goals this season. The Rams are 0-12 and have just three goals to their credit.
