Both Tiger baseball and softball were continuing on their first week of their seasons, and both made the trip to Perry on Thursday night. The Tigers were able to get a positive results, as the boys were able to walk away with a victory 14-0, and the girls a victory 10-0, both of the games being completed in five innings. Both of the Tiger teams improve to 2-1 on the season.

ADM boys were able to rely on four runs in the second and ten runs in the third as they able to cruise to victory. The Tigers were able to put up nine hits as they were able to send eight to the plate in the second inning and fifteen in the third inning.  Tate Stine-Smith was able to pitch three scoreless with six strikeouts and Luke Curry pitched two scoreless with five strikeouts.

On the girls side, the Tigers were able to put up five in the second inning and four in the fifth as they were able to roll to victory. The Tigers were paced by Ella Grossman’s three hits, Cameron Smith’s two hits and Olivia Tollari’s two hits to pace a well rounded attack. Tess Boorn was able to pitch five shoutout inning, grabbing nine strikeouts on the way while only giving up three hits on the night.

Softball will have their next game on Saturday with a softball tournament in Winterset. The boys will not have another game until next week.
