The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The Council is expected to appoint two individuals to the fire department and schedule three public hearings to sell three city-owned properties. The Council will then consider the third reading to rezone a property from residential single family to residential multifamily. Other items the Council will consider approving include an amendment to an agreement with Atura Architecture to rebid the Greene County Animal Shelter project, consultant fees with Piper Sandler for development of financial policies, and the second readings to amend ordinances to increase sewer rates by 5.5-percent and water rates by three-percent.

The Council will then hear an update from the Thomas Jefferson Gardens and discuss a proposal to address feral cat colonies.

The meeting will be held at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
