Former GC Schools AD Todd Gordon

Conversation with Greene County School District Activities Director Todd Gordon continues as he talks about volleyball and cross-country. “I think our volleyball team (2020) made a lot of strides last year, played a lot of young kids and have many of those same girls back this year.”

Gordon noted cross-country was in two different classes for the postseason last year. The girls competed in Class 2A and the boys were in 3A. “The boys’ team especially is going to be pretty strong, and we received word we’ll be in the 2A class instead of going up to 3A and that’s good to compete against schools of a like-size when you get to the postseason competition.”

This is “Family Week” statewide with no contact between athletes and coaches and no use of school facilities by athletes, with the exception of the few teams left in the State baseball tournament. Ram football camp for high school players starts this Monday, August 2.
