For one Dallas County area school district, the athletic department had a successful year. 

Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Superintendent Greg Dufoe says he is thankful that students were able to experience extracurricular activities last  school year, which culminated in ADM Tiger softball and baseball performing well in postseason play.

“The success that baseball and softball has had this summer is obviously very fun. We had a very successful spring with track, and soccer and golf. Our whole year has been marked by a high level of success and really we are just super excited that they got to experience it all. We were pretty committed to that and we have been able to do that from the very beginning. We are proud of that and excited for the success that we are having.”

The softball and baseball seasons were highlighted by the baseball team advancing to the state tournament for the third straight year and the softball team placing fourth in their state tournament.
