For youth in the Dallas County communities who would like to participate in football, a deadline is coming up soon. 

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Youth Football Program is for those in kindergarten to third grade, and the registration deadline is August 22nd. For kindergarten through second grade the program is eight on eight flag football and for third grade it is traveling flag football with soft helmets. 

The purpose of the program is to ease youth into the game of football by implementing skills that align with their age each year. The cost to participate in the K-3rd league is $60. There are also programs for those in grades 4th-6th with a cost of $150 and a deadline to register on August 15th.
