After another busy and wild 2020-21 athletic schedule, athletes from around the state of Iowa have taken advantage of Family Week, a period designed to give athletes and students a break from school activities. For Adel-Desoto-Minburn athletes, that will mean that athletes will not have the opportunity to work on school grounds and will not have contact with coaches throughout the week.

This is the first year that this has been implemented in the state of Iowa, and has been meet with much applause from people throughout the state. Iowa is one of two states in the US that has high school sanctioned sports in every month of the year, which for three and four sport athletes doesn’t mean a lot of downtime. For three and four sport athletes, this is welcome downtime to help recharge physically and mentally as well.

On August 9th will be the first day of practices for ADM fall sports, as football, volleyball, and cross country will be looking for great years once again.
