Those looking for special items and deals for the end of summer and beginning of fall, two Guthrie County communities are coming together for a special promotion.

Panora and Guthrie Center Chambers are hosting the annual Heart of Guthrie County Sidewalk Sales August 14 and 15. 

Businesses will set up on the sidewalks along Iowa Highway 44 with sales and discounts to bring customers into their respective towns. Retailers and businesses are encouraged to participate and be included in the promotion.
