
A Nebraska man suffered minor injuries from a two vehicle crash last Saturday on Highway 4 in Guthrie County.
According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the incident at 2:25pm at the intersection of Highway 4 and Chirma Road. A 2013 Ford F350 Super Duty truck driven by 22 year-old Riley Barr of Indianola was heading north on the highway and could not stop in time before rear ending a 2015 GMC Canyon driven by 33 year-old Matthew Wilson of Omaha, Nebraska.
The crash report shows Wilson suffered minor injuries and was transported by a friend and Barr was uninjured. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash and both vehicles were considered to be total losses. Barr was cited for failure to stop and an open container.
