Greene County Activities Director Todd Gordon told Raccoon Valley Radio getting the school year started last week feels really good and participation overall is strong. “We’ve got a lot of kids participating across the board when you look at all activities including the band, choir, cheerleaders, and all of our sports as well. We have a lot of kids active and it’s always fun with so many positive things taking place, it’s always exciting to start a new school year.”

He added the Rams were home in volleyball twice last week and the football team will open the home portion of the varsity schedule on Friday of this week when Perry visits Linduska Field for the “Cowbell” game. Sept. 11 will be the lone cross-country meet at home and this year it’s on a Saturday morning at Jefferson Community Golf Course.
