The coronavirus pandemic prevented a normal offering of the Perry High School Homecoming in 2020, but this year was a return to more normalcy.

Perry homecoming officially concluded with the football game and dance last night and newly crowned Homecoming Queen Nubia Torres said it was nice to get aspects of homecoming back to normal.

“It felt great having everyone back here normal instead of doing it at the football field. I know, that was kind of, not many liked that but I’m glad that we are back to normal this year and we could have a regular coronation.”

There were plenty of activities to take part in during Homecoming Week including volunteer day, game day, special dress up days as well as the homecoming coronation and the parade.
