Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers has had an effective offensive game plan through the first three weeks of the season, as the offense has put up points of 41,31, and 38. All of those points have lead to wins for the Tigers, and they’ve been doing it as primarily a running team so far this year, relying on excellent ball carriers and a stout offensive line to ware down defenses.

ADM ran 77 offensive plays against North Polk last Friday, and 64 of those came on the ground, as the Tigers as a team were able to run for 350 yards. Senior quarterback Matt Dufoe was able to put up some big numbers on the night, putting up a whopping 266 yards on 47 carries and 3 touchdowns on the ground as well.

On the season so far, the Tigers have had 148 carries to only 37 pass attempts, with the Tigers averaging around 6.4 yards yer carry as a team so far this year, putting up numbers that have been wildly impressive so far this year. Tigers football under coach Garrison Carter have improved every year in the yards per carry category, putting up 4.9 in 2018, 5.4 in 2019, and 6.0 in 2020.

ADM will be looking to rely on that tremendous rushing attack once again Friday night when they travel to take on Winterset.
