Greene County’s cross-country runners go to the Roland-Story Norsemen Invitational today at the Riverbend Golf Course at Story City. In addition to the Rams and the host team, others scheduled to take part include Panorama, Woodward Academy, Ogden, Southeast Valley (Gowrie), Bondurant-Farrar, Kuemper Catholic (Carroll), Madrid, Nevada, Saydel (Des Moines), and South Hamilton (Jewell).

The Rams have been in three meets this season while two others were weathered out. Head coach Jeff Lamoureux’s boys’ team has had a pair of second place finishes to highlight the season and senior Logan Woodruff has been in the top five twice. Woodruff and others were battling illness last week when the Rams ran at Panorama. The coach is hoping for a healthier team this week.
